INDW vs AUSW: Harmanpreet Kaur reflects on India’s loss
“Today the way we started we could have got 30-40 runs, we kept losing wickets in the last 6-7 overs, it was a good batting wicket and we didn’t capitalise. They have been outstanding for us, they have been giving us good starts and that’s why we have been posting a lot of runs. The last 3 games we were not able to bat in the middle overs, the lower order took the responsibility, but we didn’t execute at the end today. Next few games are very important and lot of positives from this game. She has been outstanding, she has always been there when the team needed her, even bowled well to Healy. We will sit and discuss, this combination has given us success in the past and two bad games do not change,” said Harmanpreet Kaur said in the post-match presentation
Looking Ahead in the World Cup
India must address middle-order fragility before their next game. Meanwhile, Australia will aim to maintain momentum against weaker opponents. Undoubtedly, both teams remain strong contenders for the title. However, only disciplined performances will guarantee success in this tournament.
